Whitney Cummings Norfolk reviews
Disappointing and disjointed act
I felt like Ms. Cummins must have thrown out her entire comedy act after doing an HBO special and really had no act for our audience. She spent a lot of the time interacting with the audience, it felt like she spent a good 5 minutes just looking for an interracial couple. If there was a punchline when someone finally raised their hand I don't remember what it was.
Then part of her act was reading us her jokes & comments that had been edited from the various celebrity roasts she has been a part of. That was pretty funny until she got her papers all mixed up and realized she was missing some papers and had brought her schedule instead. So we were watching her stand there and thumb through her papers trying to find more.
I had driven 1 1/2 hour to get to this show and just found it kind of unprofessional and not really all that funny.
